Approach

I am trainined in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including: Cognitive Behavioral TherapyDialetical Behavior TherapyAcceptance and Commitment Therapy and exposure and response prevention (ERP)

I flexibly draw from these different approaches to meet the needs of each client. Therapy is a collaborative process where I work together with clients to understand what they're dealing with and come up with a plan to help.

You can also get a sense of my approach by reading the articles I've written to explain mental health.

I am warm, non-judgmental, and naturally curious about people. I am well-trained to help clients better understand their reactions and how to better manage them. One of my goals is for clients to be able to better anticipate and manage difficult emotions, thoughts and behaviors as they arise.

I assist with a range of mental health and emotional issues. I specialize in treating depression, mood, and anxiety (generalized, social, OCD, panic) disorders. I can help with overthinking (rumination or worry) as well as helping stop cycles that push us to engage in unhelpful behaviors.
